Srikakulam The grievance day at the Collectorate on Monday to accept representations from public turned out to be a day of dharnas with several students and members of various organisations staging a protest. Nearly 100 girl students staged a dharna urging the authorities to continue the facilities provided for the BC girls hostel, till recently run as sc ancillary hostel. Students have been availing themselves of the facility since 2001.The SFI leaders who led the protest, urged the authorities to continue the facilities at least till the current batches completed their studies. |
