Scorching heat waves struck Srikakulam
Srikakulam and its surrounding regions are experiencing high temperatures as the summer season was at its best. Palakonda reported 45 degrees centigrade – the highest recorded temperate this year.
Meanwhile, one person was reported dead unable to bear the heat at Chatrapur (Ganjam). Parlakimidi reported 43.5 degrees centigrade. With the sun at its high, prices of cooling agents like coconut water and packaged water packets were at its high.
