Several persons were feared trapped under the debris when three concrete buildings collapsed after an explosion through one of the houses in the buildings where explosive material meant for manufacture of firecrackers was stored. The incident occurred in the busy china bazaar in the morning. Nearly 15 persons could have been trapped in the debris and however four bodies were retrieved.
Thirteen others who injured were shifted to the hospital immediately. The District Collector, N.Nageswara Rao rushed to the spot and he said the search is going on.
