Visakhapatnam-Kakinada industrial corridor to be extended till Kalingapatnam

Major Industries Minister Botsa Satyanarayana said that the Andhra Pradesh Government is considering the proposal of extending the Visakhapatnam-Kakinada industrial corridor to Kalingapatnam as the region has good trade-cum-transport link with Kakinada. He spoke in a meeting with the District Officials in Srikakulam.
He asked the District Industries Centre (DIC) to give a single-window clearance to entrepreneurs who come forward to setup industries in the district. He also asked the AP-Transco and Panchayat Raj Departments to improve their quality of service.
Speaking on drought, he asked the District Collector to make arrangements so that the six mandals identified as drought hit can get works under the SGRY and Food Assurance Scheme.
