Vamsadara Executive Engineer in ACB net

The Executive Engineer of Vamsadara Project K.Satyanarayana was arrested on Monday by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials while accepting a bribe of Rs.10,000 from a contractor. According to the ACB sources, the Executive Engineer has demanded Rs.25,000 from a contractor for issue of a cheque Rs.11 lakhs.He demanded Rs.10,000 in the first instance and the rest at a later time. He reported the matter to the ACB officials who laid a trap and arrested the Executive Engineer while accepting the bribe.

The ACB DSP V.Madhusudhana Rao told the media that on the raids conducted, they found bonds and gold ornaments worth Rs.3 lakhs and he will be produced in Visakhapatnam ACB Special Court.
