3000 KM SAAP Run begins

Pledge administered at Kodi Ramamurthy Stadium

The 3000 kilometers SAAP run that will cover the 23-districts of Andhra Pradesh before it makes it to the Chief Minister''s Cup in Hyderabad began at Srikakulam. Chairman of the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) MS Raj Thankur, Srikakulam District Collector VN Vishnu, Superintendent of Police MK Sinha, renowned Weightlifter Pujari Sailaja and other athletes took part in the run.

The Sadbhavana pledge was administered at a function held at the Kodi Ramamurthy Stadium. Speaking at the function Mr. Thankur said that this years cup was organized with an aim to improve the sporting culture of rural areas of the state.
