Each one is found weighing one kg
Five 'taamra patrams' (copper inscriptions) each weighing about one kg were found in a pot near Saanivada village on the outskirts of the town on Tuesday. Manual workers who were digging for gravel found these inscriptions, chained in a ring with a Nandi idol atop it. According to Srikakulam Revenue Divisional Officer S. Venkateswara Rao, the inscriptions seemed to be in Devanagari script.
