Police arrested Physics lecturer for indecent behavior with girl students

The police arrested a physics lecturer K Narayana Murty of Government Junior College on the charge of making indecent gestures towards girl students. The students along with their parents lodged a complaint with the Ranastalam Police against the lecturer and the police arrested him basing on the complaint and will be produced in the court on Sunday.
According to sources, the accused is in the habit of making indecent gestures towards girl students. They also alleged that though they complained the same to the Principal about the obscene gestures towards girl students, no action was taken against the lecturer. Incidentally, the lecturer is not married. The College Principal R Bhaskar Rao said that he had already warned him and behave in a proper manner but of no avail. He reported the matter to higher authorities about the indecent behavior of the lecturer. The students of the Government Junior College staged a dharna in front of the college demanding suspension of the lecturer.
