Srikakulam DSP L Arjun offered prayers at the famous Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Arasavalli. The temple chief priest Ippili Sankara Sharma offered special prayers. He praised the environment of the temple and learnt about the daily prayers, abhishekams and festivals that are offered at the temple.
Amudalavalasa MLA Boddepalli Satyavati said that she would fight till the Ponduru Market Committee resumes its regular operations. She took part in a rally that is staged against the dissolution of the committee. Satyavati alleged that some forces are behind the dissolution of the committee. Speaking to reporters, Satyavati said that she has met with the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and urged him to intervene in the issue to keep the Committee run as usual.
Congress leader Dola Jagan has told the reporters that he would like to contest for the Narasannapet assembly seat. However, he said that he would stand by Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao and the congress leadership directives.
Srikakulam district collector G Venkatrami Reddy urged the students to take care of their health. He took part in the Kendriya Vidyalaya half yearly meet.
